Adéline Le Mer, soprano, renowned vocal pedagogue and vocal coach, is recognised for her distinctive voice, sensitive approach to music and compelling stage presence.

Passionate about teaching, Adéline runs her own studio, where she offers singing lessons and vocal coaching to singers and professionals from a wide range of backgrounds, both online to students around the world and in person in the Rennes area, France.

Her artistic career

​

As a singer, she performs primarily in recital and the operatic repertoire, both in France and internationally. She has given recitals featuring French mélodie, Spanish canción and Italian mélodie.

Her operatic repertoire includes Adina in Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore at the International Lyric Festival of Belle-Île-en-Mer, conducted by Philip Walsh, Nella in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, and Constance in Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélites in Paris and Compiègne.

She has also sung the role of Contessa Almaviva in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro with the CvA Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Ed Spanjaard, as well as Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, conducted by David Bolen.

An international career

​

Adéline has worked with numerous internationally renowned artists, musicians and conductors, both in France and abroad.

During her training, she studied with artists and teachers including Francisco Araiza, Dalton Baldwin, Elisa Belmonte, Jeff Cohen, Margreet Honig, Richard Cowan, Nathalie Doucet, Elène Golgevit, Valérie Guillorit, Jan-Paul Grijpink, Selma Harkink, Norma Lopez, Donald Marrazzo, Ann Murray, Nelly Miricioiu and Alexander Oliver.

Education

Adéline graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree with honours in 2018 and a Master’s degree with honours in 2020.

She also holds a DEM in Voice and Chamber Music from the Rennes Conservatory, as well as a degree in International Management from Rennes School of Business.
