What happens in a singing lesson?

A one-hour lesson usually includes three connected stages, adapted to your voice, your experience and your goals.

1. Body, posture & breathing — about 10 minutes

We begin with a gentle physical warm-up, exploring posture, breathing and the connection between body and voice. The aim is to prepare your instrument and find greater ease before singing.

2. Vocal technique — about 20–25 minutes

Personalised vocal exercises help you warm up your voice, explore your range and develop coordination. Each exercise is chosen according to your needs and explained so you can practise independently.

3. Singing & interpretation — about 25–30 minutes

We apply these tools to your chosen songs or pieces, working on technique, musical phrasing and interpretation. You develop your own expression and leave with clear ideas for your practice between lessons.
